exceptions being paragons (with their armor while under a chant/shout insignias) and certain prot monks that run +physical armor. radiant is usually a really bad choice, because once the energy is gone you have zero use of it..so..use survivors! ^^

crippling, dazing, barbed and poison bow strings are useful. -5e, 15^50, +5 are all good also. try having a defensive set also when you need to run or just survive for a second.

ehhh i normally just go with 585 health and 30 energy (35 with +5e bow)
and i find that usually do able for a ranger cause of such high survivability... if youre interested in how to get that go all minors always imo sup vigor... and uh radiant on head piece, gloves and boots. chest piece and leggings are survivor... i usually find this works for a ranger in general when running ba bha or cripshot variants... so yea have funnnnn

tip: you can still mix and match armor sets and add dye in ways to make PvP characters look unique.

Example:

And you should always pve before you try pvp. This late in the games age their are too many seasoned players who have zero tolerance for players with no understanding of the game. You will be burned at the stake if you try something like HA as a W/any using the default skill template.

Eh, I'm sure this has been argued in too many threads already. I guess it comes down to personal preference. I'm certainly not married to the use of Radiant insignias as a requirement for combat; I just meant that they're probably something that would be great to have unlocked and ready to go. Same can certainly be said of Survivor.

This is absolutely a fact, however valuable knowledge can also be gained by Alliance Battles, Competitive Missions, and Random Arenas where the tolerance for new/less-than-optimal builds is much higher. Definitely don't discount PvE though.
